Hi all,

Windows people have been complaining about compilers again, which is
fair enough (it ain't part of the base kit) and increasingly OS X is
in that camp.

At last we have settled on the mingw standard for Windows, so I think
it's time to go through the common modules, and build/upload binaries
(at least for 32-bit)

Not sure what the workflow would be, but we could divide this job up
in some way.
