Just a reminder that we do try to avoid superlative based discussions on
this list. OSS is best because of its philosophy of development and the
underlying economic paradigm. There is no other best, though, just
people trying hard at what they love.
Advocating the advantages of any one distribution at some point ceases
to be informative and instead borders on promotional. Some time ago we
created some list policies to discourage this. Perhaps it is time we
revisit them.
