Work on linux for the PSP will commence when h/w becomes available:

I'm not sure the if the PSP uses 'WiFi' (its not WiFi Certified!) in
infrastructure or 'adhoc' (IBSS) mode. Linking 2 units for
head-to-head play would seem best via adhoc mode. Linking to your
home 'router' is likely best in infrastructure (BSS) mode.
Also, goodness only knows what the PSP uses for an 802.11(b) chipset.
Driver support could be... challenging. Here are photos of the WiFi
portion of the unit:
FWIW, one of the guys in the office has a Japanese edition of the PSP,
and it can see our access points in infrastructure mode, though he
can't do anything with it yet.
