You just need a source encoding host to multicast the video. The source host needs to be on a multicast enabled network and you must have a multicast routable path from the source to any intended receivers. Otherwise you'll need a server to do multicast to unicast translation for viewers who don't have multicast connectivity. Only UH, LavaNet, and HOL currently have some form of multicast connectivity in this state as far as I know. There may be others but their subnets don't show up in the MSDP cache tables.
