First, press any button when you see that tiny keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen, which will take you to the main ISO menu.
And after selecting a language, press F6 to find 'nomodeset' at the second to last option in the 'Other Options' menu. When the option is checked (by either spacebar or enter key), press ESC, then choose either 'Try Lubuntu...' or 'Install Lubuntu' to continue booting from the ISO.
