Hi, If it is of any help for an entry in the wiki, this is the slightly extended Dropbox.desktop file that I use in both .config/autostart and .local/share. The latter will make it appear in the menu (should you need to restart). I also attach the dropbox icon to be put in /usr/share/pixmaps. When the deamon starts it shows up in the system dock.
[Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=Dropbox Comment=Starts the Dropbox daemon Comment[sv]=Startar Dropbox-demonen Exec=.dropbox-dist/dropboxd Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/dropbox.png Terminal=false Type=Application Best regards, Mårten On Mon, 27 Dec 2010 22:04:17 +0000 Phill Whiteside <[email protected]> wrote: > Hiyas boss, > > do you want me to use these instructions for the wiki area or would you > prefer pcman to have a look into it? > > Regards, > > Phill. > > On 25 December 2010 22:12, Mike Nokel <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi all! > > > > I have been using dropbox for a long time with LXDE, there is no problems > > at all.
