Thanks! I'll try that when I get home tonight. I thought I might need to read up on alsamixer. I didn't know about the "m" switch. Hopefully this will work.
Does anyone know off the top of their head what package I can add to gain access to the system sound setting via the main menu? I would like something GUI. I'm almost positive UNR 9.10 had something in it that I used once in a while. Also, could such a package be included in future Lubuntu distros?
