Of course, if it has dependencies that are not in Lucid, you might end up having to backport those, too ... but lack of a package for your chosen release should not be a major issue. Ubuntu (and therefore Lubuntu) is all about open source, so you can use it to rebuild the software within the Ubuntu world any way you want :) Jonathan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk1rDaIACgkQUGfT4+mKBLIXGACcDMRs+AelKrKajTzpUZuwnaeE pn8An1SCEqCIJfTcEanRUC771NRtNS0x =0hew -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
