Well , agree. The words "proposed changes" are too heavy :) But my intention was providing an alternative to libnotify, not really replacing the volume control. The applet is working fine, but everybody preffer to use their multimedia keys (or similar). That was the idea for. Anyway I've been testing this package and seems to be unmaintained so, the choice is clear: leave the things just like they are.
