Don't we now use 'lightdm' across the board?

Or do some spins still use 'lxdm'?

Just curious ;^)

I notice that there appear to be two configuration files for LXDE:

    /etc/xdg/lubuntu/lxdm/lxdm.conf
    /etc/lxdm/default.conf

Of the two, the latter seems to be ignored.  Is there a reason for
having it this way?

I notice because there is no option to set autologin in the Alternate
install disc, but there is for the Desktop/Live image.  To set it
manually, one must edit lxdm.conf.

If default.conf is not being used, perhaps it and the directory that
contains it might be better removed.

Regards,
/Lars
