I meant to say powerbook1.txt (or powerbook2.txt) after the control+R.
At prompt, type: sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf[return] Type: control+R[return] Type: powerbook1.txt[return] Type: control+O[return] Type: control+X[return] Type: sudo reboot[return]I had copied and pasted from my "cheat sheet" for a 1st generation 333MHz tray-loading iMac.
