Greetings! I would dearly love to install the Ubuntu OS on my cell phone, but am aware that there are only certain models which are currently compatible, besides the Aquaris phones available to purchase (only available in certain countries http://www.ubuntu.com/phone/devices). Have any Lubuntu/Ubuntu users on this group had any experience/success with this? My current phone is an LG L70 (apparently not compatible with Ubuntu or Cyanogenmod). Also, please give feedback on experiences with rooting your phone/workarounds, and what OSs you have had success with.
Apologies for this not being strictly Lubuntu related, but I think the info would be useful as the subject of "device convergence" is quite topical. Thank you. Steve --
