I have found the same having only been using 'updater' for about a month. I disabled it at startup as I find it irritating attempting to do updates while I am working... so I disabled it again. Between Synaptic (I prefer), apt and aptitude - I have found work perfectly. At times aptitude can be too clever for its own good although some of its advanced functions make her the #1 package manager. james -- Lubuntu-users mailing list Lubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
