IMHO, the main problem with the help.ubuntu.com wiki was navigation. it was hard to understand where things were. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation was a long page to read, lots of text.
so the changes are less about generating new content, but organizing it. and I suppose some people would have liked to partiticipate in the organization, i donno. still plenty of work to be done. And now is the best time to make changes, while there are still bugs.
