Should this be added into the Lucene core? I suspect lots of folks would like to use something like this.
I myself would think it would be a worthwhile addition as it is something that I think many if not most users of lucene would use. I can't speak as to the quality of this particular implementation though as I haven't yet had the time to look it over beyond a quick check and probably won't for a week or two.
