I've got my lucene project setup in Eclipse to use a 1.2 JDK for compilation. The latest CVS image has the new class FieldSortedHitQueue which isn't compiling since it uses java.util.regex.Pattern. TestSort fails for the same reason.
I hadn't heard any discussion about bumping up to Java 1.4 in the Lucene 1.4 release. Was this just overlooked or are we planning to drop support for pre 1.4 JVMs?
