RC 3 built and passed its test suite on the following platforms:
OS X 10.6
Perl 5.12.2 / GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5664)
Windows 7
ActivePerl 5.12.4 / MSVC Free 2010
Strawberry Perl 5.12.3 / MinGW 4.4.3
Cygwin Perl 5.10.1 / GCC 4.3.4
Additionally, the test_valgrind target passed on OS X.
