Thats true. But a look at bugtraq and searching for sendmail comes up with 1178 entries (I know some are not sendmail bugs). My question is whether the alternatives are really that much more secure or less buggy.

It was only a specific sendmail that was available between certain dates
and only from certain sites. The following sites have more info.
