However I was trying to go to the commandline immediately after logging into X (as X was loading its various things) and guess what happened ? X logged me out again. I relogged in with the correct settings again and just be4 it completed its normal loading procedure, tried the Ctrl+Alt+F2 combination, for a moment I saw my beloved command line but then the X login window came back requesting me to login. Could any1 know y X depicts that kinda behaviour ? PS: However when I wait for X to fully load, I go to the commandline very comfortably. Tx L
