Tomorrow, June 8th 2004 planet Venus will transit the sin (causing a sort of mini-eclipse). The last time this happened was over 120 years ago in 1882.
Venus will move across the Sun starting at about 05.15 Hrs GMT/UT (8.15am Kampala time) and ending 6 hours later at about 2.15pm Kampala time.
What does this have to do with linux?
Well the following page http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/transit/TV2004.html
hosted by Nasa (a great Linux supporter) is unix based and where I learnt about the event :=) :=)
