Hmm! This I need to try out. It may prove quite interesting especially if I can get the 6 channel HSCSD working. Incidentally has anyone here gotten Bluetooth to work on an Acer Travelmate C110 with SuSE linux 9.1 or any flavour of linux for that matter? Dialup with infra-red is inconvenient. My linux sees the bluetooth device I assume since it loads the modules when it is booting: ( from dmesg) Bluetooth: Core ver 2.4 NET: Registered protocol family 31 Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized Bluetooth: HCI USB driver ver 2.5 drivers/usb/core/usb.c: registered new driver hci_usb Bluetooth: HCI UART driver ver 2.1 Bluetooth: HCI H4 protocol initialized Bluetooth: HCI BCSP protocol initialized Bluetooth: VHCI driver ver 1.1 Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.1 Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized However running noah:~ # hcitool dev Devices: noah:~ # hciconfig returns nothing and basically I am at a loss wondering where I've missed it.
