I totally agree about this "assumption" thing
It can be quite a turn off when ones just a newbie
Alternatively we could develop a LUG wiki on one of those free wiki pages?

Subject: [LUG] BBoard or piper mail

Hi all,

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. The process of continually
trying to follow up on the previous contributions, is becoming tideous.
Kiggundu, is it possible to provide a bulletin board (phpbb) and / or the
previous contributions on the mailing list, via the pipermail link of
mailman.

I would have done this, the lack of a public IP address is holding me back.
Is there any list subscriber who could offer such a service, I would even
offer to maintain the system, if the space is availed.

The biggest mistake UNIX and Linux "pros" make is assuming that everyone
else can do it as well as they can. Such a service would help newbies onto
their linux feet and help spread the Linux and FOSS gospel.

FRANCIS.
