Just a question:

how many of you ISPs is caching Windows Update? Just as a wild guess, but i
wouldnt be suprised if about 20% of the nationwide trafffic would be XP
machines without any servicepack trying to download SP1, and failing all the
time, and then the next day, trying again. Correct me when i am wrong, but
the proxylogs i have seen do point into that direction.

What other measures are being taken to 'make efficient use' of the Internet
pipe (i know there is a lot of effort going into spamfighting)? And what can
we all do to help that effort? Funny enough, we (users) do all benefit from
the efficiency, as prices could go down, more people get online, business
florishes for all of us :-)
