Actually this is a pretty much normal thing especially in Telecoms where you 
get large numbers of CDRs. Usually all the CDRs for a whole month are sitting 
in one folder. The find trick generally works perfectly.

However that fella failed to consider that while the files may actually be 
zero sized, they take up inodes and use up other file system resources which 
resources need to be released when you decide to delete all of them so it may 
not be as nice as unix but expecting it to take zero time is also rather 
unrealistic as well imho.
