The whois service was at the start intended for mostly a casual glance on status on a domain, and our observation then was that it wasn't a service that was used a lot. However, we realize times have changed and it is now used by lots of people to check for actual status of a domain name. So, trust that we'll fix it and bring along some imrovements.
