A client I represent is in need of an experienced techie.
Principal Responsibilities and Main Tasks
1. Install, configure and support the in house and client LANs.
2. Analyse client problems and develop and implement solutions.
3. Guide junior staff on how to carry out technical work.
4. Actively participate in the Research and Development process of
the company.
5. To lead the team of techies during Project Implementation.
6. To facilitate the formulation and implementation of appropriate
technical support routines with the Technical Manager.
7. Prepare reports for any work executed for filing.
8. Interact with clients to help resolve ICT issues in a timely
manner.
9. Offer guidance and backup tot he Sales Team as and when
required.
10. Ensure that office IT systems are in proper working condition.

1. Windows Operating Systems administration skills
2. Linux Administration skills
3. General Open Source Software technical skills
4. Ability to solve practical problems
5. Network Installations
6. Good knowledge of TCP/IP
7. Good documentation skills
8. Interpersonal Skills
