Mike, you got the question much better. Sharp, you can find the web-interface at
https://thenameoripofyourserver/server-manager/ also a nice one (and not very obvious): https://server/user-password for users to change their password. For people interested in Small Server Software that replaces Winblows, there is also a ubuntu based piece of software due in a few days from now (there is a beta in the gutsy universe or multiverse repository) http://ebox-platform.com/ Looks very very nice, and would fit in with all your other (k)ubuntu installations. Some nice features: it can handle multiple IP connections (if you want to VPN, have redundancy, have a VSAT & local connection etc), it comes with a jabber server, and its all LDAP powered (unlike smeserver), so your users authenticate against a Directory not against a local linux password file. rgds, reinier On Thursday 08 May 2008 05:35:26 Mike Barnard wrote: > there should be a web interface where all this can be done with just 'click > next'.
