By the way. I don't think google android is actually a phone. I think
its an operating system ... unless someone knows otherwise

Subject: [LUG] Smart Phone

Upgrading a cellphone is not as easy as getting a new laptop. We tend to
use them basically until you drop into the lake or some chap on kampala
road thinks that its his!

Whats accessible on our laptops should be accessible on our cell phones.
Been looking to upgrade to a smart phone and there are quite a number of
smart phones on the market. Iphones, offerings from Nokia etc.Must haves
options GPRS, wifi, blackberry connect and all the other bells and
whistles. Question is, do i go for a snazzy iphone, new
communicator, bulky HP/Dell, sony's new toys or wait for Googles Android?

Herb
