Hi Robert,

Am running 8.04 myself, but should be similar.

- Open the System Settings
- Click Printers
- Click Add | Add Printer/Class

The Printer wizard starts up

- Click Next
- Now, you can choose an smb printer (if that is how you shared yours)
- Click next
- On this screen (SMB Printer Settings) you can choose where your printer is. 
If you can not find your printer here, you havent shared it correctly
- Click Next
- This brings you to the Printer Model Selection. This is the screen your 
looking for. If you can not find your printer here, you need to install the 
drivers. In you Adept Manager, search for "printer". I got the foomatic and 
gutenberg packages installed, and they contain the most common drivers.
