Having upgraded from openSUSE 10.3 to 11 recently, I was rather
disappointed with KDE 4.0.

The longing for the slick n smooth ride on openSUSE 10.3 's
customizable and more stable KDE 3.5 led me to a downgrade after 72
hours of frustrations with openSUSE 11.

However, openSUSE 11.1 beta 3 has brought back the smiles.

It offers some nice improvements and comes with the latest versions of
popular open source software programs.

KDE 4.1 release is ready for regular KDE users in my view. Its solid
with lovely features—like the Folder View plasmoid—that provide
tangible improvements over the previous KDE series. One thing that is
particularly exciting about the KDE environment in beta 3 is that it
includes Amarok 2.0 beta 2 as the default music player.

I have not hard any KDE 4.1 crash notifications since install, still
smiling and hope to stay that way.

I recommend the upgrade for all Konquerors out there.
