KDE 4.0 was never meant to be used except for experimentation. It was a
controversial decision to even release it before it really truly worked, but
if you use this repository:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/

You can get the latest KDE4 packages for opensuse 10.3, 11.0, and the coming
11.1.

No need to run  a beta OS!
