It's a clone machine. I checked the hard disks:
1) HD0 or hda has windows installed. It's the primary master and the
BIOS and a jumper on "Master on Slave off"
2) HD1 or hdb has linux installed. It's the primary slave in the BIOS
and it has no jumper.

I've been trying the suggested solutions but up to now nothing
worked, e.g.

Does someone know a solution or can guide me to solve this.
