There is 2 things that people with a phd tend to be good at

- they read
- they have a good memory

I think Victor was referring to earlier postings by Noah.

Sysadmins never RTFA and respond spontaniously. That is what makes /. so much 
fun, and Nature such a bore. (not that i know, i never read Nature, just the 
summaries)
