If it's Ubuntu I'll be happy too.

Hi

I am also debating on either Ubuntu or Suse Linux desktop 11.1, I have an Acer (Aspire 5610Z) laptop that always acts up when ever I have these programmes installed, for some reason the wireless adapter stops working.

My experiences get trying given that I am a none technical promoter of OSS and have no time to engage in the very deep investigations on how to solve the problem. Could there be any one willing to go into this venture with me this friday? I would be very glad to avail my lap top to do this process.

    Hi All!

I am about to introduce Ubuntu to one of my users and with this in
    mind,
I was wondering if any of you have any research on which desktop eases
the transition better, KDE or Gnome?

I am planning on putting on Kubuntu on this users laptop, and I
    imagine
that this particular user would adjust to well to both, but others
    might
    have problems accepting either one.

    (I myself is on Gnome)
