I do not think there is much of a difference for end users who are not
particular about certain features each desktop gives. For each, i believe
there is a skin for a windows feel... which when selected one gets to work
as though they were sitting on a windows machine.

Besides, you can install both desktops and try each and see which they work
well with. Tell them its a new feature... where you can change how the whole
desktop feature works ;-)
