Again none of the Macromedia products or now Adobe products have yet released a 
Linux compatible version. Rob Gipman has had some success in getting Adobe 
Photoshop CS4 to run under WINE. I do not know about other Adobe products. Rob, 
perhaps you could avail us all with some more info?

Simon,

There is no open-source alternative to Macromedia Flash that I'm aware 
of (if that's what you were referencing).

Photoshops equivalent is pretty much GIMP.
