I don't use Ubuntu or netbooks, but the little I've seen of both has
left me feeling that that marriage could really work. And to be honest
the first question that came to mind when I heard of Chrome OS was
"well, why not Ubuntu?" Over at theregister.co.uk (and other more
discerning publications), reactions are are somewhat muted.
Plus methinks Adobe Flash's is about to be beaten up and its lunch
money taken away by Microsoft's Silverlight. Say what you will about M
$, but when they throw their billions at something, often they do it
right. Silverlight seems to be one such example. Plus where
programming languages/environments (such as Flash, .NET/Silverlight)
are concerned, never forget that the first set of chaps you must sell
to are the developers. M$ beats the field hands down in this department.
Lets wait and see I guess...

Flash software."
I wonder if they can persuade them to release a copy of Photoshop/
Dreamweaver/Director too?
