Yeah Microsoft was quick to flex their anti trust muscles and squeeze any hope that ubuntu tried to gain by getting some retail shelf space. It is pretty bad, Microsoft apparently has gotten some of their vendors not to even show their linux offerings at trade shows. This article points out one such instance at a trade show in Taipei:
