Right, but given that most of .ug's traffic is U.S.- and EU-
bound, not sure it makes sense to have said traffic head 
south just to head back up north, i.e., (good) latency, 
where possible, may always be better than (high) bandwidth.

Of course, this makes sense if .ug's primary transit paths 
failed, but controlling when the southern path is used is 
not easy, as this is mostly a function of networks that 
aren't your own, most of the time.
