Some providers may maintain high prices for products that
have a high cost of sale, in order to force customers into
considering different technologies that offer them scale.
ISDN is one of those technologies that several operators,
around the world, are discontinuing, either directly or
through high pricing.
On the other hand, operators make more of their money from
ISDN through charging voice tariffs (the switch doesn't
distinguish between voice and data in terms of billing).
