You can change network settings using the Vodafone Mobile Connect Card
driver which you can download from
https://forge.betavine.net/frs/?group_id=12

It should work on any network.

If you are running Karmic, comment #44 at
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8340961
should help.
