I think Simon was saying that there are more tutorials available for Ubuntu than there are for SUSE.

A quick Google search indicates that this is probably true.

398,000 results for "ubuntu squid tutorial"
75,400 results for "suse squid tutorial"

Also, in Ubuntu, any novice can use Add/Remove Applications ;)
