Not necessarily - VPN's are one way to go, but there are
several choices:
- IPSec/VPN.
- l2vpn.
- l3vpn.
- GRE
- IPinIP
- L2TP
- e.t.c.
Which one the OP goes for will depend on what he and his ISP
can support.
Of course, the above are VPN's based on an IP packet
network. Other options do exist.
