Great! Is that a postpaid plan or just prepaid "scratch"? How's their
coverage? K'la and beyond (like Wakiso, Hoima and Gulu?)?

I am planning/hoping to come to Uganda for a week in July visiting
Watoto. As it seems right now it will be mid/end July so I am hoping to
catch a LUG meet as well :-)

Tethering is to "tie" your mobile, either by Bluetooth or USB to your
computer to allow the computer to use the mobile as a modem/internet
access point.

Also some phones allows the use of their WiFi to provide wireless
internet to other devices by connecting to the internet(WAN) via the
mobile data connection and sharing it (WLAN) through the 802.11b/g(/n?)
posing as a router/AP. HTC Windows Mobiles already has this feature. For
Android it seems that there are apps out there to do the same, although
they might need a root'ed phone.
