They are all "reliable". KVM is the newest and may have the least support 
for guest OSes (http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Guest_Support_Status) but it 
is stable and fast, probably faster than either VirtualBox or VMware.

VMware is only free as in beer, and requires slightly annoying licensing, 
but it has the best compatibility and drag-and-drop integration.
