Hi Thomas, Thank you very much for suggesting photorec,it got me hugs where guns and clubs were already drawn. Am now busy sorting out the files I really wanted from all the data that was recovered. Am trying to sort 6GB of photos from about 140GB that was recoverd but am still happy bse I've already gotten most of them. Long Live LUG am very grateful to everybody who offered me advice :))
