If i get  you right,  one of the changes with your set up was the cable which 
you put a switch in between and things worked.  I think the connection may  
have required a crossover cable instead of the straight through - this could 
have alternatively been resolved by re-terminating one end of the cable to make 
a crossover.

Because the cable to the Radio uses Power over Internet. I cant replace it.

(The piece of it I can replace, I did replace before starting to email, and 
that didnt work)
