Hey all luggers An sme server version 7.4 cenos was sending and receiving mail perfectly fine until today.
On the box nothing had changed <- to my knowledge Nothing in the logs, nothing in the admin mailbox, nothing in the queue. Inside the box telnet to port 25 and 465 are fine outside the box they are not. When using horde to send mail it fails Outlook and thunderbird can not make the smtp connection nor the smtps connection Datanet was asked to enable reverse dns as that was one reason why outgoing mail was rejected. This used to work fine! Currently we are checking if datanet is allowing incoming ports 25 and 465. They've been blocked before by them! Telnet to the ip gives: telnet 41.220.212.x 25 Trying 41.220.212.x... Connected to 41.220.212.x. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host.
