Hey guys am having a slight issue with ubuntu 10.10. I installed it on an oracle virtualbox which is installed on my suse 11.2. I noticed that it did not ask me for a root password but only asked me for my username and password during the installation. I am unable to perform certain tasks that are required by the root user. So i would like to know if there is a default root password that it comes with or if there is a quick solution to this problem or do i have to use a live cd to change the password after mounting the partiitions.
