I suggested sometime back that we could have an Acceptable User Policy or Code of Conduct which no one replied to, but at the end of the day it does come down to the opinion's of one or two people who are admins.
Just realized that I should read 'we' as I think it was a reply to Hari's post. In my mind this is not the first time Cavin has gone out of his way to be rude. Will he learn from this. Doubtful. Does that mean we should tolerate people being insulted. No. Unless really in jest ;-) I suggested sometime back that we could have an Acceptable User Policy or Code of Conduct which no one replied to, but at the end of the day it does come down to the opinion's of one or two people who are admins. As Kyle said ignore the troll is probably the best way, but also a timeout might allow him to cool his or her jets. Plus notice Cavin came back with a smiley not an insult. ;-) Trolls can keep good people away and decent debate shrill. Look at any Windows Vs Linux Debate on any major tech website to see what I mean.
